GARDEN | Seed update

A little over a week since sowing and my poppies and lemongrass seeds are showing their little green faces. The poppies came first, germinating after only 2 or 3 days. I could barely contain my excitement! Don't they look so delicate and yet so determined.

I've kept my seedlings in a plastic sheltered propagator tray on a window sill which gets sunlight during the morning. Wary of over-watering, I've only lightly sprayed each batch of seeds when the compost looked as though it was getting a little dry.

So far so good!
